Claremont Pier

Claremont Pier, Lowestoft

When you live by the seaside, what makes a better day out than a trip to the local pier and attractions? Claremont Pier is a typically traditional British seaside pier that was originally constructed in 1902 and has had many uses since that time including being used as an Army Base during World War 2.

For the last 40 years, the Claremont pier has been in possession of the Scott family who have maintained the pier as an all-year-round tourist attraction and the perfect place for a family day out.

Attractions at the pier include:

Rollers - a traditional roller skating rink with regular disco nights and full disco lighting, mirror balls, smoke machine and room for around 50 skaters.

Nemo's Fish Restaurant - with fresh Suffolk fish served right on the pier, Nemo's Fish restaurant is the perfect place for having a bite to eat with a fantastic view of the Lowestoft's award-winning beach. Take the family for a bite to eat and a great day out.

Fun Palace & Palace Casino - as you'd expect to see at any seaside pier, this arcade area is packed the latest video game machines as well as a range of classic penny pushing machines, fruit machines and other games for people of all ages to enjoy.

Edge Bar - a modern bar with regular weekly entertainment, intelligent lighting and a balcony view of the beach. The bar can be booked out for parties and venues too, so it's a great place to hold a family celebration.
